Orphans Court Litigation
When an individual over the age of eighteen lacks the ability to manage his or her own finances or make informed decisions regarding his or her own health or safety, a guardian may be required. Our attorneys have extensive experience assisting those seeking the appointment of a guardian on behalf of a loved one, and representing those over whom guardianship is sought.
Douglas W. Olshin has focused a significant portion of his practice on Orphans’ Court litigation. Mr. Olshin has represented clients seeking guardianships on behalf of loved ones, and been appointed to represent alleged incapacitated individuals by the Judges of the Orphan’s Court of Chester County. He has lectured on recent updates to the Orphan’s Court Rules of Procedure, and argued complex Trust and Guardianship issues before the Superior Court of Pennsylvania.
